Boats, Motors, Fuel & Docks

Docks & Gas:

We are located at the far east end of Canyon Lake, near the public landing. Our docks are protected from waves and wind by a rock point on the northern shore in front of the lodge. Our docks are a floating dock system that is new and well-maintained. For those who bring your own boat to McIntosh Lodge, you will find electrical outlets for every boat, and bull rings for securing your boat. We also have good lighting for those who enjoy fishing at night. We know you have invested your hard-earned dollars in your boat, and we have built this system to protect your investment.

There is only one public landing on Canyon Lake and we are fortunate to have it only 200 yards from our docks. Once your boat is in the water, we have a secure parking area for your boat trailer.

We have, for your convenience, a large gas tank near our dock system with a 100 ft gas hose so that we can reach your boats easily. We only have premium gasoline, so bring along your oil if you have a 2 stroke motor that requires mixed gas. Our gas tank has a meter that reads in liters, so guests who have used gas for their own boats throughout their stay will be charged at the end of the week. You may have experienced high prices charged by camps for gas in the past. This is not the case at McIntosh Lodge. We think of ourselves as a service-oriented business and we consider fairness in pricing a very important service.

Boats & Motors:

Our guests are treated to comfort and convenience with our complete fleet of Naden boats with flat decks and swivel seats. Our 16' boats have new 2015 F-20 Yamaha four stroke outboard motors which are ultra-quiet and nearly smoke free. We pride ourselves in keeping all our equipment in top operating condition to add to the enjoyment of your trip.

Please Note: We supply landing nets and minnow buckets but not big Muskie nets. If you are targeting Muskie please bring your own net.
